There is a bug with the society terminal which sometimes makes it impossible for people to apply for membership. The button which needs to be pressed to join is greyed out. I have checked several times and our setting is set to: "Accepting new members" but for some people the button to apply is not functioning.
A supportcase is sent to MA, especially since i just ran the pretty expensive ad-campaign 
If you want to apply: Contact any member ingame or leave a post on this forum, or alternatively PM Degnyx here on on EF.
To all Honour Guard members: Please let potential members know of this bug and direct them to either me or Rash, ask them to post here or to send me a PM. Currently only Rash and myself can send society invites ingame (Ranks Guard commander and above). [B]

UPDATE:
I have received a reply from support, they tested but were unable to reproduce the bug, also they had not received any similar reports. This means that they can't fix it or compensate for the ad costs. I replied that I understood their position (having worked as head of tech support for years, I know it's very hard to nail down a bug if you can't reproduce it) but also wrote that I am not convinced that the problem is gone. I proposed to them that I would try again in game to reproduce the bug and also see if any other people have had similar experiences on EF, then get them to file a support case as well. When done, I'd report back my findings to support so that hopefully the bug can be tracked down.
It's not so much about the PED I invested in the ad-campaign, It's rather that this bug might cost us (and other societies) applicants that worries me.
If there is further progress I'll post it here.
